Kylie's Tutu

Last night I made a tutu for a 9 month old girls whose mother is very sick. I don't know Kylie or her mom but I felt like I waned to do something for this little girl. I am friends with her mom's cousin and after I offered to make the tutu for Kylie, she told me that they were talking about tutu's earlier that day.

This is a letter from my friend W about her cousin on 7/25

For those of you I haven't sent anything to this is my 31 year old cousin.
Please keep her in your prayers.
W

A's colon surgery went well. We pray now that healing will be quick so the chemo can start ASAP. She has a large mass and several other masses on her liver and her lymph nodes continue to swell. I pray that the colon surgery has relieved the pressures within her body and slow down the cancer spread for the chemo to begin in 2-3 weeks (depends on her internal healing from surgery).
WE NEED A MIRACLE WHICH ONLY GOD CAN PROVIDE. HE MAY USE THE DR'S AND MEDICINE, BUT HE IS THE ULITMATE HEALER. .....I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE, LORD, FOR THE LOVE YOU HAVE FOR MY BABY AND HEALING THAT IS COMING HER WAY. GIVE HER AND C. STRENGTH, KNOWLEDGE AND FAITH TO KNOW YOU ARE BY THEIR SIDE. YOU ARE NOT THE ENEMY OR THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION. ALL POWER AND GLORY AND HONOR ARE YOURS.....AMEN

Thank you for all your prayers, e-mails and requests to help. We have heard about the 50/50's, bake sales, fundraisers; etc that are in the works. This means so much to A and C. I am on may way up to the hospital now. Hopefully C. can get some rest while I'm there.
Continue to pray and share with those whom you think will pray and support my baby. I will update again when I'm able.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL,
A's Momma...D.

And this is the letter that made me want to hold my kids a little bit tighter.

I wanted to just share a little bit about my Monday with everyone.

T. and I attended a funeral for a dear friend's father who passed away
at 66. So young! It was such a sad time for the both of us but we know that he is
in a better place.

Second I went to see my cousin A. who is battling stage 4 colon cancer.
Her 9 month old Kylie is the cutest little girl. I sat and played with her on the floor
since her mother can no longer do that. She can't even hold her because her tumor
is so big that she could easily make things worse then they already are.
She has been told to gain at least 8 pds before starting chemo, only 2 has been gained.
A. had part of her colon removed 2 weeks ago, so she is having trouble eating.
She will be getting the most aggressive chemo treatment that they can give her. Hopefully soon!

I just wanted to take a minute and let everyone know that life is short and we never know
what can happen. So take the time and enjoy your friends and family they are very precious.

Ending the night I left her house with a smile after we had shared many childhood memories.
Then on the other hand I was sad because it took her illness to get us 4 cousins together.
We are a strong family and we will pull through this.. Thanks for all the support from my dear
friends.

So keep her in your prayers, I am lucky to have her as my Cousinfriend!
W.

Please keep this family in your prayers.

I will post a picture of the tutu as soon as my battery is charged. I left the camera on all night.
