Free Shipping on Headbands

I have been offering free shipping when you buy two or more headbands. The last day for free shipping will be Thursday Oct. 30th.
The Etsymom Street Team is prepping for the holidays by taking the time-honored tradition of gift-giving to another level! Riding the wave of unity, harmony and excitement inspired by the Etsymom Trunk Show in September, our team tossed around a few ideas about our next team event. A little idea of having a giveaway, where Moms would donate an item to be given away each day of November on our blog has morphed into a SUPER GIVEAWAY!! When the call for volunteers went out we had an overwhelming response of over 60 shops willing to donate a $10.00 in value item to this cause. Two winners will be randomly chosen everyday to receive one of over 50 prizes.. Donations will range from an assortment of hand embroidery, vintage finds, hair clippies, baby accessories, paper crafts, earthenware pottery and more. Perfect for gift-giving! There is a little bit of everything, so whether you like trendy, shabby chic, traditional or retro styles, you're sure to find something! Don't miss this ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA. Visit us here beginning November 1st for giveaway rules and deadlines!

Ginger Blossom and Chocolate Lolipop

A note from Kylies mom.....

After a very long week this email really made my day.
Hi Asha,

I am Angie M. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you so much for making Kylie's tutu. That was sooooo sweet of you and I can't thank you enough for making one of my dreams come true. One of the first things I thought of when I was diagnosed was all the things that I would miss out on seeing Kylie do and seeing her taking dance classes was one of them. I couldn't wait for the day I could take her to class.....so I can't thank you enough for letting me see my little girl in a little tutu. She loves to dance and loves music and seeing her in her little tutu brought tears to my eyes. It's the little gestures that people do that can mean the most and your gesture made my day when I recieved it in the mail. So thank you so so so much!!!! You are a very loving and generous person. I have attached a couple of pics for you in her tutu. Enjoy!!

Love
Angie and Kylie M.

Drama

How many of you try and avoid drama? I felt like I left all that behind after I got out of High School, or out of the workforce. But somehow this last week I feel like I am back in high school. I have a page on myspace with my tutu's but not my headbands because someone on myspace sells them. I ordered some from her and well to be honest I didn't like what I received. So I decided I could make my own and I did, but I put them on my Etsy shop because I didn't want to upset this lady. I don't know why because more than one person can sell a headband, tutu, dress, bow or a bow holder. Its a business and that's what a lot of us are trying to do, right?

Then a few weeks ago I went to Wal-Mart, picked up two dress patterns. Then off to Jo-anns for fabric, but I picked fabric that someone else on Etsy and Myspace used for a dress that she is selling.

So those two things make me a "SHE IS A LYING, UNORIGINAL, UNIMAGINATIVE, SCAMMING PERSON"

This has been spread all over Myspace, I have been get nasty emails and some supportive ones. I feel like woman who bash others is wrong. She doesn't know me, she feels that I "stole" her headband idea. Well she "stole" it to, come on.

Sorry this was just a vent from a long day.

After reading a post that Momdot published just made me realize that women shouldn't be judging each other. Well I have know that for a while but its obvious some of us learn these lessons before others.
